Children’s Programs

Boy doing art project.Children’s Programs at the Avon Grove Library are free programs (unless otherwise noted) most are held in the Library Activity Room, just beyond the elevator in the lobby.  Registration is required only if noted.  Adult caregivers are welcome to attend the program with their children.  For children under 12, an adult caregiver must remain in the library during the program.

After School Fun

Tuesdays, at 4:30pm

We’ll read popular books, and make a different art or science project each week.  This program is recommended for children from Pre-K to 3rd grade.

Lego Club

1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month at 4:30 – 5:30pm

Use the library’s Legos and Duplos to build, by yourself or in a group. Display it in the library, then next time, dismantle it and we’ll make something new!  Lego club is held in the Library’s Community Room.

Crafts and Books

April 28th, 6:30 PM
We’ll be making an Earth Day craft project and we’ll vote for our favorite books.  For kids in 2nd to 6th grade.


BAD WEATHER POLICY: Morning Programs are cancelled if the Avon Grove School District has a delayed opening or is closed. Afternoon or Evening Programs are cancelled if the schools are closed or close early. Updated cancellations will be posted in the Library’s Blog and on our Facebook Page.
