This is where you’ll learn about all the things we offer to kids at the library. We have a large selection of material for babies, toddlers, elementary, and middle school age students. Come check out our board books, picture books, early readers, juvenile fiction, juvenile biographies and nonfiction material. We also have the latest DVD movies!
Storytimes
Toddler Storytimes at the Library
Wednesdays, 9:30am and 10:30am

For children birth to 30 months and their caregivers.

Fun Friday Storytime at the Library
Fridays, 10am

Preschool, kindergarten, homeschool children welcome with their siblings and caregivers.

Children's Programs are held in the activity room (just beyond the elevator). No registration needed for these free programs. Siblings are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult. For more information,

Bad Weather Policy
All morning programs are cancelled if the Avon Grove Schools are delayed or closed. All afternoon and evening programs are cancelled if the school district is closed or closes early. For weekend programs call the library or check on Facebook.

We Need Your Help! The Children's Department would greatly appreciate materials donations for storytimes and special programs: such as glue sticks, markers, construction paper, paper towels, kid's scissors, hand sanitizer, google eyes, chenille sticks, coffee cans etc.
