Come talk about our Community! Wednesday 3/28 – en español; Thursday 3/29 – in English

Would you be interested in a discussion about the West Grove area community? How do you see our community and where do you want it to go? Avon Grove Library has a few slots left in our series of Community Conversations being held Wednesday and Thursday nights this week, 7:00-8:30 p.m. at the West Grove Borough Building, 117 Rosehill Avenue. The Wednesday night conversation will be held in Spanish; Thursday is in English.

These discussions are part of a new initiative for us called Turning Outward. We’re learning more about our community so we can put the community’s needs at the center of our planning and decision-making. We want to get away from making plans based on what we think the community needs. What we want is to really understand our community and people’s aspirations for it, before we decide what our role in the community needs to be.

If you’re interested, or know anyone else who might be interested, email me at or call me at the library (610-869-0886 is my office number). I’d love to include anyone who wants to take part, whether you’re new to the area or have lived here all your life! Thanks — Lori Schwabenbauer, Library Director
