Introduction to Computer & Email

This 6 hour class will cover the basics: Setup, using the mouse, keyboard, using CD’s and flash drives. Email will cover logging on, how to send & receive emails, attachments, how to use your Address Book, reply, forward, print & delete messages. $5.00 materials fee payable upon registration.

We Need Your Help! The Children's Department would greatly appreciate materials donations for storytimes and special programs: such as glue sticks, markers, construction paper, paper towels, kid's scissors, hand sanitizer, google eyes, chenille sticks, etc.
Toddler Storytimes

Join us at the Avon Grove Library for Preschool Storytimes, Stories, songs, rhymes and simple crafts. For children age 1 to 6. Free program. No registration is required. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Storytime at Starbucks
Every Thursday at 1pm, Starbucks Jennersville, Shoppes at Jenners Village Center, West Grove.
Join Miss Lisa, a storyteller from the Avon Grove Library for reading adventure with dancing, singing, games, crafts and snacks (courtesy of Starbucks). No registration required. Free program. Children must be accompanied by an adult. This is an on-going event.

COMMUNITY KNITTING PROJECT
We are working on a blanket to be donated to a disabled veteran in honor of his/her service to all of us.
If you would like to knit a square, please take a pattern and ball of yarn (available at the Circulation Desk).
If you would like to help, but don't knit, please add a ball of red, white or blue yarn to the basket at the Desk.
ADOPT A PLATOON
Avon Grove Library is one of several drop off sites for “Adopt-a-Platoon,” sponsored by the West Grove-Avondale Rotary Club.
Help our troops stationed in Iraq by donating items such as: pre-paid phone cards, magazines (Sports Illustrated, Men’s Health), stationery paper, toiletries, hand sanitizer, boot socks (black or OD green), jerky, power bars, dried fruit, or pre-packaged cheese and crackers. A complete list is available, posted next to the drop offboxes placed in the main library.
These are both on-going events.
