Library Facts & Figures
As part of its mission, this library seeks to meet the life-long informational needs of all residents. It is one of the few places that provide equal access to information, where trained professionals assist you with your search, and where families learn and grow together.
The Avon Grove Library is well known for its superior services to children. Not only do we provide in-house programming for children of all ages, we also hold outreach sessions to special communities, including area daycares, preschools, and to the Spanish speaking populations. Last year, we offered 750 individual programs sessions with an attendance of 19,129 people. This number is one of the highest in the Chester County Library System.
The Avon Grove Library is financially supported in part by State, County and Local governments. Additional funds are secured by civic organizations, local businesses and private individuals. We wish to thank everyone that has generously supported our programs and services to the community.
