Teen Programs


These programs are for teens entering sixth grade through graduating seniors.  Some programs may require a materials fee.


Teen Writing Workshop

February 10, 4:30 PM

Do you love to write? Teens in grades 6 – 12 can discover more about creative writing and how to find your voice. No experience necessary. Meets monthly.


YA Book Club

February 24th, 4:30 – 5:30 PM

Book Lovers Unite! For grades 9-12, this book club will feature young adult books of all genres. Come read and discuss! Meets monthly.

February 24, 2017 – The book for our first meeting is “Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe” by Benjamin Alire Sáenz.


Teen Service Club

Earn service hours, make friends, and help out the library at Teen Service Club!  Help prepare crafts and activities for storytimes.  The club meets on Tuesdays, from 3:30-5 PM from the beginning of September through the end of May.

BAD WEATHER POLICY: Morning Programs are cancelled if the Avon Grove School District has a delayed opening or is closed. Afternoon or Evening Programs are cancelled if the schools are closed or close early. Updated Cancellations will be posted on our library’s Facebook Page.
