These programs are for teens entering sixth grade through graduating seniors.  Some programs may require a materials fee.


Teen Writing Workshop

Next Meeting: May 20, 12:00 – 1:00 PM

Do you love to write? Teens in grades 6 – 12 can discover more about creative writing and how to find your voice. No experience necessary. Meets the third Saturday of every month.


YA Book Club

Next Meeting: May 20, 1:00 – 2:00 PM

Book Lovers Unite! For grades 9-12, this book club will feature young adult books of all genres. Come read and discuss! Meets the third Saturday of every month.

SAT Practice Test

SAT Practice Test:

Saturday, May 13, 1 PM – 5 PM.

Please print the Registration Form and return it to the library Circulation Desk to register. Registration deadline is May 4th.

Arrive by 12:45 pm, the test starts promptly at 1 PM in the Community Room.

Bring 2 sharpened #2 pencils and a calculator.

Limited seats available for these free practice tests!

Students will be emailed their score report within 5 business days, along with a score report consultation from an Educational Advisor to help them better understand their results.

The Registration Form will be used only for the purpose of registration, not for any solicitation.  Avon Grove Library does not hereby endorse or promote The Princeton Review.

Teen Service Club

Earn service hours, make friends, and help out the library at Teen Service Club!  Help prepare crafts and activities for storytimes.  The club meets on Tuesdays, from 3:30-5 PM from the beginning of September through the end of May.

BAD WEATHER POLICY: Morning Programs are cancelled if the Avon Grove School District has a delayed opening or is closed. Afternoon or Evening Programs are cancelled if the schools are closed or close early. Updated Cancellations will be posted on our library’s Facebook Page.
