Teen Programs

These programs are for tweens and teens entering sixth grade through graduating seniors.  Some programs may require a materials fee.

Free SAT Practice Exam

Saturday, November 12th, 1-5 PM

Register for the November Practice Exam on the Princeton Review site! Registration Deadline: Wednesday, November 9th

How will you score? Find out by taking a full-length practice test given under the same testing conditions as the actual exams. Learn about the endurance and skill you need to score high on the SAT_2016. You’ll get a personalized score report that shows your strengths and weaknesses. This test is proctored like an actual test except the score won’t go on your record!

Plan to arrive by 12:45 PM as the test starts at 1:00 PM Please bring 2 sharpened #2 pencils and a calculator!

Writing Workshop

Friday, November 4, 3:30 PM

Kick off National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo), with a writing workshop with local young adult and children’s book author Dianne K. Salerni!  Register at the Library for this free program. Learn more about Dianne and her work: http://diannesalerni.com.

Teen Service Club

Earn service hours, make friends, and help out the library at Teen Service Club!  Help prepare crafts and activities for storytimes.  The club meets on Tuesdays, from 3:30-5 PM from the beginning of September through the end of May.

BAD WEATHER POLICY: Morning Programs are cancelled if the Avon Grove School District has a delayed opening or is closed. Afternoon or Evening Programs are cancelled if the schools are closed or close early. Updated Cancellations will be posted on our library’s Facebook Page.
