Opportunities for Teen Volunteers
Volunteers are need to help with library programs throughout the year. Volunteers must be in 6th grade or above.
Teens in Grades 6 – 12 who would like to volunteer at the library should complete the Teen Volunteer Application. Teens cannot volunteer without first being applying and being approved by the Teen Volunteer Coordinator. Completed applications should be returned to the circulation desk and the Volunteer Coordinator will contact you by email. Visit the circulation desk or call the library at (610) 869-2004 for more information.
**If you need a letter of recommendation or a time log filled out for National Honor Society, Scouts, or anything else, please send an email request two weeks in advance to the teen volunteer coordinator.
Teen Service Club!
Earn service hours, make friends, and help out the library at Teen Service Club! Help prepare crafts and activities for storytimes. The club meets on Tuesdays, from 3:30-5 PM from the beginning of September through the end of May.
Help Out During Programs!
Teen Volunteers are a big part of helping to put on programming here at the library. Come help an tables, serve food, play with kids, and more! Sign ups for these volunteer opportunities are done through the Volunteer Coordinator.
NEW BAD WEATHER POLICY: Teen Service Club and other volunteer opportunities will be cancelled if the Avon Grove Library is closed or closes early. The Volunteer Coordinator will email volunteers to notify them of any cancellations. Cancelled programs will be added to the library’s Facebook page and website as well.
