American Girl Book Club
Every 2nd and 4th Monday at 1:30pm

The American Girl Book Club offers a dynamic exploration of historical fiction through the eyes of various American Girl characters, each representing a unique time period in American history. Participants will delve into the stories and historical contexts of these characters, gaining a richer understanding of the era while engaging in themed discussions and activities.

I Survived Book Club
Every 4th Wednesday at 3:45pm

The I Survived Book Club for elementary students introduces young readers to gripping, age-appropriate historical survival stories, encouraging them to explore dramatic events through engaging narratives. ​Through interactive discussions and activities, students gain insights into these historical challenges while developing their reading and comprehension skills.

BAD WEATHER POLICY: Morning programs are cancelled if the Avon Grove Library is closed. Afternoon or evening programs are cancelled if the library is closed or closes early. Updated cancellations will be posted in the Library’s Blog and on our Facebook Page.​
