Become a Virtual Teen Volunteer!
While much of Avon Grove Library's in-person programming is suspended due to COVID-19, teens can still earn volunteer hours remotely by participating in our NEW Virtual Teen Volunteer Program. This program enables you to complete activities that benefit the library and community on your own time and from the comfort of your home.
Examples include writing letters to homebound community members, creating book reviews, coming up with trivia questions for our upcoming virtual trivia nights, or participating in Zoom meetings to give your input on how Avon Grove Library can continue to improve its teen programming (see Teen Advisory Board below).
Here is the current list of tasks available for teen volunteers to complete. Interested students can register for the program using our online application form. Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance into the program.
Current teen volunteers can record their hours using our online volunteer log.
Due to the virtual nature of many of the tasks available, in most cases our volunteers must be 13 as of August 15, 2020. Special exceptions may be provided by the teen volunteer coordinator.
