Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering at Avon Grove Library! We depend on our wonderful volunteers to keep our collection organized and programs running.
Volunteer Opportunities at the Library
Library volunteers can help process library material, shelve books, help with office tasks and special library events.
Circulation Department Volunteers
Adults interested in volunteering should complete the Volunteer Application. Completed applications should be returned to the circulation desk. Circulation volunteers must be trained by a library staff member before beginning work. Someone will contact you once your application is reviewed.

Presidential Service Awards
The President's Volunteer Service Award is awarded to Avon Grove Library volunteers who dedicate a substantial number of hours to library volunteer work over the course of a single calendar year. These awards, bestowed by the President of the United States, honor the American tradition of volunteer service and thank those who, by demonstrated commitment and example, inspire others to engage in volunteer service. Avon Grove Library chooses one adult volunteer and one teen volunteer to receive this award each year. Recipients are chosen based on the number of volunteer hours served between January 1st and December 31st of that calendar year.
